BEHAVIOR:
As per previous owner, Becky is very friendly with strangers. She has been around a 7 and 8 year old and played exuberantly with them. She loves to be held. She has not been around other cats or dogs. She is also described as very friendly, affectionate, playful, independent and loving.
Reaction to assessor: Becky comes to the front of the cage – soliciting and rubbing against the cage front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Becky stays at the front – continues to solicit attention and rubbing against the cage front.
Reaction to cage door opening: Becky remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Becky solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hands.
Reaction to being picked up: Becky sits calmly and nuzzles the assessor’s face.
Behavior Determination: Beginner
Becky interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Socialization
Becky is very friendly with strangers. She has been around a 7 and 8 year old and played exuberantly with them. She loves to be held. She has not been around other cats or dogs. She has not bitten anyone or any other animal.
Behavior
Becky is litter box trained. She has no accidents outside of the box. She has not been bathed or brushed. She has soft claws on her nails. She does not mind being picked up held or put in a carrier.
For a new family to know
Becky is described as very friendly, affectionate, playful, independent and loving. She loves to follow the owner around the house and meows when she is hungry. She sleeps anywhere in the house and sunbathes on the windowsill. She used an open litter box with fresh step cat litter. She was fed 9 lives wet and dry food.
Behavior during intake
Becky was shy upon intake. She allowed to be handled but kept a low body and wide eyes. She tolerated being pet, collared and scanned. She was photographed, carried and placed inside of a kennel.
