KNOWN HISTORY: Other notes: Upon intake Beauty displayed a low tense body and appeared shy, she allowed all handling MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Observed Behavior – timid ENRICHMENT NOTES: Lay in place when door opened, head down, eyes dilated. Allowed pets, but held immobile and seemed wary. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Katie remains lying down on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Katie remains motionless in place with normal shape eyes. Reaction to touch: Katie allows the touch, but seems unsure with her surroundings. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy and Timid RECOMMENDATIONS: – Experienced cat parent Beauty tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
