***SAFE 6/6/16 *** SECOND CHANCE–MAKE IT COUNT— SENIOR BLACK BEAUTY LOOKING FOR QUIET RETIREMENT HOME TONIGHT! Baby is an 11 year old SPAYED cutie! This lady has been at the ACC since March, when her previous owner dumped her off there claiming he “couldn’t care for her any more”! He’d had her since she was a kitten, and all of a sudden she’s an inconvenience? Outrageous! Although Baby is a bit tense after sitting in a tiny cage at the shelter for a month and a half (can you really blame her?), and has an EXPNOCHILD rating. She’s earned loving volunteer comments. Check them out! Baby is such a sweet, friendly and affectionate cat! She was waiting for me in front of the cage and gave me nose to nose kiss when I got close to her. She loves the petting especially on her cheeks, and laid down relaxed when I rubbed her cheeks. I fell in love with her beautiful eyes and such sweet personality and wanted to spend all my volunteer time with her! Baby will be your great companion whom you want to snuggle with.” This sweetie needs a quiet retirement home, where she can snuggle the day away! Please offer to foster/adopt her tonight, the ACC WILL KILL HER AT NOON TOMORROW!

05/10/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Baby looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Baby retreats to the back, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Baby sniffs the assessor’s hand, but seems wary with her surroundings. While attempting to pet, she swats (no claws) at the hand then hisses as she remains alert sitting upright. Placement determination: Experience / no child Baby tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
