*** SAFE 02/02/16 *** PEOPLE ARE SAYING NICE THINGS ABOUT ADORABLE AUGUSTA……A volunteer writes: Augusta is a beautiful elder stateswoman that would add a dash of class and a calming influence to all household proceedings. Augusta’s love of cuddles and persuasive purrs will pave the way for successful trade negotiations with even the most rogue of nations. She can melt the heart of the cruelest of despots. Augusta is just that good. Another volunteer writes: Hi! I’m Augusta, a great lady with loving green eyes, watching you intensively, waiting to see if you would stop by. Pet my head, I’ll purr a sweet soft song for you. Rolling on my side, enjoying your chin rubs, looking up at you with pleasure. Thank you for spending some time with me. I need a home where I can rest my bones and hoping I can cuddle up with you. Content with each others company I’ll purr away with happiness and we’ll become great friends. Wishing to see you soon so we can get acquainted. And another volunteer writes: This mature black kitty would be like any other in the shelter, but for the way she shows you she likes what you’re doing. That is, of course, while you’re petting her. She starts to purr, and then she begins moving her little paws, kneading bread, making muffins, kneading it some more and then purring over it until it’s just right! Augusta has to be coaxed a bit to let you get to know her, but when she realizes that you are only full of goodness and light, she responds in kind. She is a very lovely cat….ADD A PANTHER TO YOUR HOME JUNGLE!! APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT AUGUSTA NOW!!
