AUDREY – A1075034
Safe - 5-31-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Anjellicle Cats Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://bit.ly/Audreyandkittens
**SAFE 05/31/16** “Attempt to determine which litter of kittens belongs to which mom, and reunite them.” THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN, though, did it? Meet AUDREY and the 6 kittens who have randomly been assigned to her by the ACC; their names are CAMERON, DEMPSEY, MIGHTY, RAYANN, RICH, and SEAN DOO. Two mama cats and 12 kittens were hanging out in some guy’s yard, bothering exactly, nobody, so of course the guy scooped them all up and took them all to the ACC. The ACC made a little note to themselves they they should really figure out what the hell was going on with that entire group, but that resolve lasted all of 0.02 seconds. Even the thrill-seekers who ride bulls try to hang on for a full 8 seconds; this crew didn’t even get that! Rather than sort it all out, the ACC has taken the low road. They just picked a mama cat (Audrey) and grabbed a handful of kittens (the Manhattan Cuties) and dumped the whole lot of them onto a huge list, on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, when (conveniently) no one will be around to see this asinine thing they did. That also means that these RESCUE-ONLY angels are going to have an even harder time attracting the attention of anyone who can save them, so please advocate LOUDLY and EVERYWHERE for these guys and girls, tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Audrey looks frightened in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Audrey remains crouched positon at the back of the cage, alert with a blank stare. Reaction to touch: Audrey accepts a brief touch on the head, but began to breathe heavy in place and attempts to escape the cage. Placement determination: Experience / no child Audrey may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children.
