SAFE 2/20/18 A volunteer writes: A sweet gentle girl who is really interested in everything that is going on around her. She seems very calm and responds to being petted. She doesn’t seem like a really active cat but more of a couch potato. Very cute. A sparkling 10-year old (grade-school age) girl, who’s a pretty black and gold tiger tabby cat. When I reached in to pet her, she was thrilled with the attention, and she squirmed and twisted all around so that I could pet every inch of her. She is sweet, sweet, sweet, and I have a strong suspicion that she’ll be a champion spooner. Make room in the bed, because Ashley is ready to come home with you.
Beautiful green-eyed ASHLEY is a 10 year old sweet senior girl who was adopted last month. Now she has been returned for an unknown reason – and needs a new furever home asap!! ASHLEY is already spayed, microchipped, and ready to be your new best friend!

Ashley is a mellow cat that enjoys lying around the house and playing with other cats. She will follow you around the house and likes to wrestle with stuffed toys. She is used to being indoors all day and eats both wet and dry cat food. She is very litter box trained and uses and prefers an uncovered litter box. She does tend to scratch at furniture at home and will still use a scratching post she likes horizontal carpet scratching posts.
Behavior Notes:
Ashley was very loose bodied during intake she was purring and rolling into head scratches. She let me pick her up and hold her for an extended period of time and while i held her she was giving he headbutts and nuzzling into my arms.
