SAFE 12/14/17 ARMANI is a 4 month old kitten who lost his home when owner died. He is social and was purring at intake. ARMANI was brought in with another cat Versace 15637. He needs a new furever home asap!

Subjective: Kitten is BARH. App++. There is a normal BM in the litterbox, but also a fecal score 6 with frank blood.
Observed Behavior – Readily approaches front of cage. Little restraint required for exam. Allows all body parts to be touched without signs of discomfort. No “warm up” time needed – immediately social and interactive, purring.

EENT: Eyes clear, ears brown debris AU (neg. for mites), no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: Healthy dentition; has both deciduous and adult teeth
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: wnl; both testicles palpable scrotally
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Apparently healthy
Plan: Acceptable candidate for adoption or rescue. Monitor for additional episodes of diarrhea.
