ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Timid KNOWN HISTORY: Arizona was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Arizona remains tense, hiding at the back of the litter box during approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Arizona remains immobile in place. Reaction to cage door opening: Arizona stiffens up with head down, ears turned sideways, eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Arizona accepts the touch, but shows no further interest with the touch. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Arizona may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
