10/15/16 09:08 Finder was able to pick kitten up with her hands and place into a carrier. Finder stated she was able to touch the kitten without any issues. Behavior during intake: Kitten was nervous and at the back of the carrier during intake. I was able to transfer to a den without any issues. When I put my hand out for kitten to smell, Archery started to back away and shake. Once I started to pet Artchey, kitten relaxed and started nudging against my hand and purring. I was able to scan for a mc, collar and take a picture without any issues.

Reaction to cage door opening: Archery remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Archery headbutts the assessor and leans into petting, purrs. Reaction to pick up: Archery is nervous being picked up but calms down in assessor’s arms, purring. Placment Determination: Beginner Archery approaches the assessor, solicits petting and attention and allows all handling. Archery is exhibiting behavior suited to beginning cat parents.
