SAFE 8/1/17 A volunteer writes: Well, hello there! Thanks for stopping by. My name is April, and I’m a 7 year old girl. Fun fact about me–the birthstone for April is a diamond, and just like a diamond, I’m looking to be a girl’s (or a guy’s!) best friend! I’m an affectionate and friendly gal who counts cat nip, wet food, being brushed, and sunbathing by a window as some of my favorite things. I’ve lived with another cat before, and we got along very well. I also really love spending time with my human friends. I love when they give me head rubs. I also love to follow my human friends around the house to chat with them. What I would love most of all, though, is to find my new–and forever–best friend. I hope you’ll come on down and meet me for yourself. In the meantime, shine on, you crazy diamonds. I know I will! Another volunteer writes: April will be delighted to meet you! In fact, she might get chatting to you before you even have a chance to pet her. She’s a friendly, loving girl with a sweet personality, and lots to say. She’ll “meow” you over from across the room, have a good sniff to get to know you, then relax and enjoy all the petting you have to give. While I was hanging out with her today, she went between the three areas of her enclosure – always returning for chin tickles and back stroking. It felt like she was showing me her home, and inviting me in for a proper catch up. This girl would love a forever home to call her own, and will bring a lot of love and affection with her.
NEW PHOTO! Poor APRIL was surrendered to the shelter because her owner is moving. April is scared at the shelter and needs a loving home where she can feel safe again.
