I am a female white and gray tabby domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/28/2016 from NY 10305, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-079608.

10/28/16 15:31 Finder did not have any interaction with animal as it was in a trap during intake but did state that the cat was meowing and swatting from the trap. Behavior during intake: Animal was meowing and hissing with a stiff body during intake. I was able to transfer from trap to den without any issues. In the den, animal kept stress meowing and hissing. I was able to scan for a mc and take a picture but was unable to collar due to behavior.

AOL came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, AOL was nervous and did not allow handling. Reaction to assessor: AOL is hiding in her den. Reaction when softly spoken to: AOL continues to hide. Reaction to cage door opening: AOL looks at assessor with eyes wide, ears flat, body tense. Reaction to touch: AOL shifts to avoid touch, does not allow handling. Placement Determination: New Hope Only AOL does not approach the assessor and does not allow handling. AOL is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
