ANTA was friendly from the first time she walked out of the carrier into the hands of the intake person in the shelter. She was easy to handle and on her assessment she allowed all handling and petting. This sweet tuxie girl needs a hero tonight if she is to live past noon Thursday. Behavior Determination: Average Anta was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Anta is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
