GONE 4/7/18 WATCH VIDEO OF ANNIE & KRAFT! Two friendly senior sisters – Kraft & Annie – are hoping to find their forever family, together @MACC – A volunteer writes: These sweet biddies, Annie 23539 and Kraft 23538, have a story to tell, and someone must coax it out of them. They were found in an abandoned building and, considering the shape they were in, they may have been fending for themselves for a while. But at least they had each other. There’s no doubt there was love and laughter and comfort in their past, because they are so friendly and at ease with people, and they certainly would not have survived to be “ladies of a certain age” if an abandoned building was all they’d ever know. When I met them, they immediately warmed to my petting, and then stood up to give me a proper greeting. When one stood up, the other came to her side and they stood together like elegant statues. Even with their currently shabby coats, I could see the beauties they once were and could become again, with some loving care, grooming and a healthy diet. Let’s bring these ageless beauties from rags to riches and give them the glorious home they were meant for.

Annie became stressed after much of the removal, but more grooming could be done at a later time when calm. Placed a DVM check for Annie for assessment of the remaining wounds in paw pads.
