ANITA – A1068085
Safe - 4-3-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 04/03/16*** FRIENDLY AND APPRECIATED ATTENTION AND PETTING! Big words for a little girl who was abandoned and left to fend for herself! This 2 year old will need a person with EXPERIENCE but after a little settling time, ANITA should be just fine!
Please, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT this cutie pie. She shouldn’t need to lose her life because someone cared so little for it!

03/23/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Anita and at the time she sniffed the facilitor’s hand and head butts. Anita rolls around playfully with her tail up and allows petting all over. Reaction to assessor: Anita does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Anita comes to the front of cage soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Anita tries to run out of the cage Reaction to touch: Anita solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Anita is tolerant of this type of handling but tense and when placed back into the cage she tries to run out. Behavior Determination: Experience Anita was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention and tolerates all petting. Anita is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
