SAFE 9/27/17 A volunteer writes: A poem by Anise: “A volunteer visited me one bright morning. Like always, my beauty was very alarming. Okay, in all honesty, she looked my way because I was meowing, but I’m sure it’s also because I’m so very charming. She came to my cage and I met her head first. Like any cat, some scratching behind the ears and some petting was what I wanted of course. When I was all good, we started to play with her rubber blue gloves and my toys. The gloves were my favorite because they look and feel so interesting and make a weird noise. Eventually, the volunteer lady had to leave, but I know more friends will stop by every single day. My adorableness will be too hard to resist, and I’ll have more fun times of play.”
**ANISE and 4 housemates were brought to the shelter due to “personal problems”.
