09/13/16 19:41 Basic Information Marty is an approximate 5 year old orange tabby that was brought in by the police after owner died. Police did not handle Marty at all. Behavior during Intake Marty tolerated all handling during intake. After his photo he simply went into the carrier himself. No signs of aggression were displayed during intake.

Reaction to assessor: Angelo looks tense, crouched position with head down when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Angelo remains in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Angelo accepts the stroke while he stiffen up in place then began to hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Angelo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
