Basic Info:
Angela A1082690 & Arabelle A1082691 are a pair of gray tabby DMH feline sisters who were left with the owner from a family member 7yrs ago and are being surrendered due to the owner moving out of the country. They’ve never been to a vet and currently have no known health issues/injuries.
Socialization:
Around strangers Angela is shy for a few minutes. She hasn’t been around children or other animals besides her sister Arabelle and they’re very close. They do everything together. They are gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with each other and the adult. Angela hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal.
Behavior:
During car rides Angela will meow. She isn’t bothered with being placed into a carrier. Angela hasn’t had the following done to know her behaviors: being given a bath, having her nails trimmed, being brushed or being disturbed while sleeping/resting.
For a New Family to Know:
Angela is described as friendly, playful, mellow, independent & quiet with a medium activity level. Angela likes to hang out with Arabelle. When the owner is home Angela follows them around sometimes. She enjoys mouse & ball toys. Angela is an indoor cat that sleeps around the home. Angela eats dry & wet Meow Mix cat food 1-3x a day. She is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within. The owner hadn’t noticed if she scratched on anything in the home, there is no scratching post in the home.
Intake Behavior:
Angela allowed all handling but she made a sad sounding sound (which stopped from the girls once they were reunited) when I removed her from the kennel she was in with Arabelle. She had a semi tense body posture but didn’t seem to mind being scanned (-), collared & having her picture taken. Angela seemed to be more comfortable with staying in her kennel and was placed in with ease.
