ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Sweet ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/24/17 Curled up behind litter box, eyes dilated. Minor lip licking when door opened. Slowly started to lean into pest, purred, remained tense. 7/25/17 Reported not eating. Resting in cubby, eyes dilated, wary. Lay in place leaned into pets, extended neck for throat rubs, purred. Occasional lip licking, seemed a little uncomfortable with surroundings. Showed no interest in treats EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Angel remains soft and relaxed, lying down on her cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Angel remains in place, alert with normal shape eyes. Reaction to touch: Angel began to knead in place, lean into the assessor’s hand and purr while appreciating the petting. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup then calmly walks back into the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Angel interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
