***SAFE 07/17/16*** RIPPED FROM HER KITTENS AND NOW SCHEDULED TO DIE AT NOON TOMORROW! AMILIA is a gorgeous 2 year old house panther who was found in someone’s backyard. Judging by her lactation status, when her “savior” trapped her and dumped her off at the shelter, they left behind a litter of kittens! Poor mama cat! Amilia is tense at the ACC, and who can blame her? Not only has she just lost her babies and the only home she knew, but she now has a cold. She allows handling and did not show any aggression during her assessment. She is simply tense and afraid. Surely once placed in a loving home and given some time to decompress, this EXPERIENCED RATED lady will show her true colors! Amilia has only been at the shelter for 4 days. Apparenly that’s all the time the ACC has decided she’s worth having around, because she will be KILLED AT NOON TOMORROW if no one swoops in and saves her! Would you like to be Amilia’s REAL savior? Step up for her TONIGHT!

07/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Amilia is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Amilia does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Amilia does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Amilia remains motionless Reaction to touch: Amilia was at the back of the cage in a low tense position but allowed petting Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience Amila was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
