Ale was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Ale was calm, relaxed and lying down on his blanket. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ale stretches his body out, chirps and reaches out for attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Ale is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Ale purrs softly and reaches out with paws. She lightly rubs up against the assessor’s hand and allows petting all over her body. Her body is soft and she light head butts the assessor for attention. Reaction to being picked up: Ale is a bit tense when held, looks out at his surroundings and doesn’t mind being held. Behavior Determination: Average Ale interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
