KNOWN HISTORY: Alamo was brought in as a stray so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. During intake he was calm and relaxed, and allowed all handling. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Friendly, allows petting, purring EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Alamo comes to the front of the cage, soft eyes and body, and meows at the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Alamo sniffs the assessor’s hand and continues to meow. Reaction to cage door opening: Alamo remains calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Alamo leans into the stroke and purrs. Reaction to being picked up: Alamo sits calmly in the assessor’s arms and looks around. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Calm, Sweet BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Alamo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
