Safe - 7-2-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Zani's Furry Friends Please honor your pledges: http://zanisfurryfriends.org/
**SAFE 07/02/16** AIMEE is a beautifully colored brown and white female tabby. What a cutie! AIMEE is around 2 years old and was brought into the shelter as a stray. She is in heat right now so her behavior may be a little different due to hormones, but either way, she’s a sweetheart! AIMEE is calm and allows herself to be pet. She stays at the front of the cage, hoping for some attention. She is a friendly girl. She may have been someone’s pet at some point, and would make a wonderful furry friend in an experienced pet home! This young adorable cat is on the death row list for tomorrow. You can be a life-saver to this sweet kitty and she’ll be your BFF (best furry friend) for life!! Please save sweet AIMEE TODAY!!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please be advised that Aimee seems to be in heat at the time of assessment. The behavior presented at the time of evaluation may differ when the heat cycle is complete due to a change in hormonal balance. Reaction to assessor: Aimee was at the front of the rubbing against the cage door When spoken quietly: Aimee stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Aimee remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Aimee allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Aimee is not tolerant of this type of handling and started to growl when attempt to pick up Behavior Determination: Experience Aimee was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor and solicits attention. Aimme is not tolerant of being handled. Aimme is displaying behavior appropriate for a eperienced cat owner.
